Pikku Delfiinit

Pikku Delfiinit Oy was founded in 1997 and it is the biggest baby swimming organizer in the private sector in Finland. Its founder and manager Kata Sorvali started as a baby swimming instructor in 1987 and is also a certified midwife. She also works as a trainer at The Finnish Association for Swimming Instruction and Life Saving.

Pikku Delfiinit Oy organizes baby swimming at the following locations:

  • Käpylinna (Mäkelänkatu 86-89, Käpylä, Helsinki)
  • Heseva (Pellervontie 39, Käpylä, Helsinki)
  • Siltamäki swimming pool (Jousimiehentie 3, Helsinki)
  • Keski-Espoo swimming pool (Kaivomestarinkatu 2, Espoo)
  • Nummela swimming pool (Vesikansantie, Nummela)

Baby swimming is meant for babies aged 3 months – 1,5 years old, minimum weight is 5 kilos.

Family swimming

Family swimming

Family swimming is for meant for children aged 1-3 years. A younger or older sibling may also participate. Families get individual instruction but there are also group activities. Each session has a special theme.

Sibling swimming

Sibling swimming

Sibling swimming is meant for babies aged 3 months – 1,5 years old, and an older sibling/siblings may also participate. Instruction focuses on the baby.
